people of the 92nd North Carolina House District in an
honest, determined and diligent manner.
- Uphold the values
upon which this great land was founded
- Reduce the burden of
government upon the people
Provide for excellent
law enforcement, fire protection, medical services and civil
preparedness
- Recruit an assortment
of jobs to provide opportunity for our citizens and to give more of
our children the option of living and working closer to home
|
- Realize that taxes and kudzu are
a lot alike:
- Both are widespread due to governmental persuasions
- Both can be useful and serve the intended purpose
- Both need constant attention and can be hard to control
- Both can grow quickly and creep into every crevice
- Both can be so easily wasted
|
- Deliver value from
every dollar collected
- Preserve the natural
beauty of our county
- Recruit other people’s
ideas and collect the information necessary to make informed choices
|
- Welcome service and high tech
jobs as well as other jobs that offer opportunities
- We must increase jobs
in health care, education, construction, and research
- Surry Community College
is an example of success
- Expansion of
learning centers will bring more jobs than anything else
- We need to make
sure that we expand this as quickly as possible
- Offer a wide
assortment of classes and expand satellite campuses
|
- Support Water/Sewer
System grants, low interest loans, etc.
- As an engineer I
want us to be sure we do it right
- Begin at the water
source and work out
- Properly size the
water mains and include a sewer system as you go
- Properly inform the
people of the system’s capacities and purpose
- Ensure
that the design of the system matches the intended purpose
